NBC is kicking off the May sweeps with a mini-series called 10.5. It follows in a long tradition of campy disaster films about earthquakes, including Aftershock (1999), The Great Los Angeles Earthquake (1995), Quake (1992), Earthquake (1974) and San Francisco (1936).
