NBC's science fantasty -- '10.5'
NBC is kicking off the May sweeps with a mini-series called 10.5. It follows in a long tradition of campy disaster films about earthquakes, including Aftershock (1999), The Great Los Angeles Earthquake (1995), Quake (1992), Earthquake (1974) and San Francisco (1936).
Like most movies in the disaster genre, 10.5 isn't based on science. The links below highlight the many errors and misconceptions in 10.5:
